It Gets Better

Alright, a speech may not exactly be art, but we’re taking a break from that today because this is important.

As I’m sure many of you are aware, today is Wear Purple Day to commemorate the six teens who killed themselves recently due to harassment in schools and campuses due to their sexuality. Teachers and administrators did not take the bullying seriously or maybe they simply did not care. For whatever reason, these officials made these students feel hopeless, like the world was a bad place and not worth being a part of anymore. It’s important for all LGTB youth who may feel this way to understand that things improve for them. Even when things look bleak, it does get better.

Now, I’m going to shut the fuck up, and let this guy tell you because he’s going to say it a hell of a lot more eloquently than I can:
