How to Be a Creative Badass

January 16, 2011 § Leave a comment

Some of us are poets, and some of us are wannabe poets.  The wannabes spend a lot of them asking the actuals how they do it.  There are answers, but they’re sort of vague and flaky.  (Courtney is notoriously unhelpful with telling you how to write a poem, but if you show her one of your’s, she is very good at telling you what you did wrong.)  So tonight we are reading How to Be a Creative Badass, filled with good tidbits of advice, and unlike Margaret Atwood’s thoughts, there’s no prayer involved.
