Lello and Irmao

Speaking of bookshops we love, we would also like to point out Lello and Irmao, a bookstore in Portugal that is stunning.  Looking at pictures of the store, we already know we would love to have a personal library this timeless.  The stained glass ceiling, the carved shelves and the dramatic, intricate stairs are all outstanding.  This place looks like something out of the Harry Potter movies.  It would be easier to believe this store was originally designed first as a cathedral.
