Saxon Shore’s “This Shameless Moment”

Is it just us, or is everyone talking about Fleet Foxes as if they were the next Death Cab for Cutie.  We get it: you really like them; they’re life changing; they’re the reason you’re dating that girl who looks like every other indie girl.   But seriously, if you are going to be so into Fleet Foxes, can you spare some time for Saxon Shore, a related band?

Saxon Shore is a soulful, ambient, indie, post-rock sort of band from Philadelphia and Brooklyn.  They sound like the intros of Death Cab songs stretch out to their fullest.  In addition to the constant comparisons to Death Cab, they are also connected to MGMT.
