Speaking Latin

There is nothing too pretentious for us.  If you think we are kidding, you should know we want to spend our next summer like this guy, speaking Latin to others like us, even if we have to do it in Wisconsin and not Rome.  We already love to read poetry and prose and comment on them (Suetonius!  So awesomely trashy!) , so doing so in Latin sounds good.  We already like hip hop, so we are down with using it to understand Alcaic meter.

And seriously, how cool is it that pizza in Latin is placenta?  Or that popcorn is maizae grana tosta?
